Sr Monica McGivern turns 100 years

Many in NZ and especially in the Wellington Diocese, will remember Sr Monica McGivern RSCJ, founder of the Drop in Centre known as The Crypt which could be found under St Mary of the Angels. Sr Monica began the Centre in 1982. She was available to anyone needing a listening ear or wanting to rest in the presence of someone who cared about all who visited her ministry. Sr Monica will turn 100 this year. Whilst very frail, she will quietly celebrate her very full and faith-filled life with her community on May 25th.
